Crying in the Sun
In 2018, Faustix released Crying in the Sun with singer Shannon Rani, who also performs under the shortened name RANI.
The track became one of the producer’s most successful solo releases. It combined emotional pop melodies, light house rhythms, and vocals about attempting to conceal personal pain behind an outwardly carefree appearance.
The song entered the official Danish chart and was later followed by an extended edition containing ten remixes. Crying in the Sun demonstrated that Faustix could create not only hard festival music, but also melodic radio singles.
Need You and Thorns
In 2019, Faustix continued developing the more emotional side of his sound.
Need You was dedicated to the uncertainty that arises at the beginning of a relationship, when a person does not yet know whether their feelings are mutual. A music video was created for the song with the aesthetics of a teenage film and visual references to the series Stranger Things.
During the same period, he released Thorns, continuing the combination of electronic dance music with an accessible pop structure. Both tracks became key vocal releases in the Faustix catalog alongside Watching You and Crying in the Sun.
Music in the Early 2020s
At the beginning of the 2020s, Faustix continued releasing vocal electronic music while also returning to club-oriented production.
In 2020, he presented his own version of Genie in a Bottle, reimagining Christina Aguilera’s hit in a contemporary dance format.
In 2021, he released Future Calling, Happy Place, and Time of My Life, a collaboration with Mangoo. These works combined melodic dance, progressive house, and pop-oriented vocal parts.
In 2022, his catalog was expanded with Secrets featuring MAYLYN, Talk Dirty with Cancun and David Jay, Another Baby with Marion Woodseth, and other collaborations.
This stage demonstrates that Faustix did not confine himself to a single style. Depending on the project, he could create either a melodic radio single or a harder track designed for a festival set.
The Shift Toward Big Techno
In 2024, Faustix noticeably changed direction, making big techno the foundation of his live sound. This festival-oriented form of techno combines a faster tempo, heavy drums, short vocal hooks, and large-scale climaxes.
The new concept was titled The Techno Experience. The live program was accompanied by tours of major venues and marked one of the most significant stylistic turns in the musician’s career.

In 2025, he climbed to No. 96. DJ Mag noted his intensive touring activity, performances at more than 70 events during the year, and releases through HEXAGON, Dim Mak, and Spinnin’.

Later Club Releases
In 2025, Faustix strengthened his hard dance and techno direction with Belly Dancer, P.I.M.P, Day ’N’ Nite, Wonders, and other releases. Acid Boyz, Badjack, and Nito-Onna participated in the creation of some of these tracks.
The next stage was represented by the singles Work Dat, Shutdown with Ed E.T., Top One with Mattia Trani, and Beg Me. These works develop Faustix’s harder club language, combining big techno, neo-rave, and hard dance.
For an evergreen biography, the direction of development is more important than the exact dates of the latest singles: after an extended period of vocal EDM, the artist shifted toward a faster and heavier festival sound.
