How can I listen to your radio station?
You can listen to Minatrix.FM in several ways:
- directly on the website using the Play button in the player;
- via the M3U playlist in any convenient media player;
- through the official Minatrix.FM online radio player.
The player lets you quickly start the broadcast from your desktop, can be minimized to the system tray and does not interfere with your work.
The stream sometimes stops — what should I do?
Occasional interruptions can happen, especially outside live broadcasts. If you are listening through a browser, refresh the page and start the radio station again. If you are listening through the desktop player installed on your computer, simply stop the stream with the “Stop” button and then start the radio again.
What are BPM on the balance and how can I get them?
BPM is the internal currency of Minatrix.FM Radio. You can purchase it in the Premium shop inside your account, or earn it simply by being active on the website.
BPM are credited for the following activity:
- Logging in to the website within a 24-hour period. If you have not logged in for more than a week, BPM accrual stops until your next authorization on the website;
- Publishing posts on your own wall and on other users’ walls, leaving music reviews, commenting on news, likes/dislikes, the number of friends and other activity;
- BPM accrual depends on how complete your profile is and whether you have uploaded an avatar;
- Premium accounts receive double BPM accruals;
- Music authors who upload their work to the website receive especially high BPM rewards, as they earn BPM for uploading tracks, as well as for plays, downloads, playlist additions, comments and other interactions;
- You can also earn BPM by selling your music on our website.
BPM for activity are credited daily at 4:00 AM server time.
Also remember that the project has an affiliate program, where you can earn rewards by inviting users to the project.
To prevent manipulation, the exact accrual algorithms are not disclosed. Artificial boosting is strictly punished!
What is rating / level? What is it for?
Rating is a unified real-time algorithm for all users that reflects a user’s reputation within the Minatrix.FM project. Your rating affects your position in search results and also unlocks new functions that may only become available after reaching a certain rating and level.
How can I increase my rating?
At the first stage, you should fill in as many fields as possible in your profile and upload your avatar. After that, rating growth depends on your activity within the project: commenting on news and profiles, chatting, and so on. A daily rating bonus is also added simply for visiting the resource.
How to chat?
You can chat on Minatrix.FM after logging in to your account on the Video and Chat pages. We recommend using the standalone chat, as it includes all key features: public messages, private conversations, user list, emoticons and moderation.
The chat includes the main message window, a private message window, input field, online user list, top panel with links to radio streams and an emoticon block. You can view an example of the interface here: chat screenshot.
To address a user publicly, you can use the command to [Login] Your message text. For a private message, use private [Login] Your message text. These commands can also be inserted automatically when clicking a user’s login in the chat or online list.
Messages are sent with the Enter key or the send button next to the input field. In the user list, you can see chat participants, open a user profile, address them publicly or send a private message. Moderators and administrators monitor compliance with the communication rules.
If a user has the icon
next to their name, it means they have been restricted by a moderator for violating the rules and temporarily cannot post messages or use the chat.
How do I upload my track?
All authorized users can upload tracks to Minatrix.FM. To do this, open the track upload form on the website or the “Add Track” section in the mobile app.
Before publishing, make sure that the material does not violate the Minatrix.FM rules, copyright or related rights. Upload only tracks for which you own the rights, or materials you have permission to publish.
Carefully fill in the track information: artist, title, genre, mood and other available fields. For the cover, use a square image of at least 250×250 px. A well-designed track card looks more attractive to listeners and helps the track appear better in the Minatrix.FM catalog.
How do I edit track information?
Authors can edit information about their tracks after publication. To do this, log in to your account, open the page of the required track on the website and go to its detailed description.
If the track belongs to you, editing buttons will be available next to the action buttons — likes, add to playlist and other controls. You can use them to change track data: title, artist, genre, description and other information, as well as change the cover separately.
After making changes, carefully check the data before saving. A correct title, proper genre and high-quality cover help listeners perceive the track better and make its card look cleaner in the Minatrix.FM catalog.
How do I delete a track?
Deleting a track from the Minatrix.FM catalog is a last-resort measure and is performed only by request to the administration, with a clear reason for deletion. This is because after deletion, empty pages, 404 errors and broken user playlists, reposts and internal links to the track may appear.
Please note: deleting a track does not free up space in your account upload limit. If you need to correct the title, description, genre or cover, we recommend editing the track instead of requesting its deletion.
Frequent unfounded requests to delete published materials may lead to account feature restrictions, profile blocking or individual tracks being added to the platform blacklist.
Where will my track be published?
After publication, the track will appear in the New Music section and become available on Minatrix.FM platforms: minatrix.fm, minatrix.com, minatrix.com.ua, minatrix.ru, as well as in the project’s mobile applications.
In addition, the material may appear on partner websites and in related sections of the Minatrix music network. This helps expand reach, attract new listeners and make the track more visible to an audience interested in new music, DJ sets, remixes and independent artists.
Why is my track getting few plays?
After a track is published, Minatrix.FM tries to give each release an initial reach and show it to part of the audience. Further promotion depends on listener response: completed listens, likes, comments, playlist additions and other interactions. If a track keeps the audience engaged, the system may continue recommending it more actively.
If a track gets noticeably fewer plays, there may be several reasons. For example, the material may be restricted due to signs of copyright or related rights violations. If you believe the restriction was applied by mistake, or if you have the rights or permission to use the material, contact us.
Track presentation also affects reach. Fill in the artist, title, genre and description, and add a high-quality square cover. A well-designed card is more appealing to listeners and helps the material display correctly in the catalog, recommendations and related sections of the website.
Sometimes low numbers are not caused by an error, but by audience specifics: some genres or niche materials may currently have fewer suitable listeners. In that case, plays may still grow gradually, but the dynamics will be calmer.
How can I get into radio rotation?
Minatrix.FM editors regularly listen through the catalog of uploaded music, so any published track may be considered for radio rotation. The decision depends on the quality of the material, correct presentation, compliance with platform rules, genre, listener response and activity around the track.
You can review the material requirements and conditions for getting on air in the Radio Rotation section. A track may also be played on air through the request desk if listeners choose it, or receive additional attention after entering Minatrix.FM trends.
What is Premium?
Premium is an upgraded Minatrix.FM account that unlocks additional opportunities for communication, music listening and promotion on the platform. Premium can be purchased in the Premium Shop or received as a gift from another user.
A Premium account provides the following benefits:
- highlighted login on the website and in chat;
- no advertising;
- music downloads without waiting;
- choice of message color in chat;
- an additional 100 MB of disk space permanently;
- the ability to upload mixes up to 500 MB;
- access to token withdrawals, if this function is available for the account;
- double token accrual for activity on the platform.
The set of Premium features may be updated as Minatrix.FM develops. Current terms, pricing and available features are always listed in the Premium Shop.
How does the DJ ranking work?
In the DJ Ranking section, participant positions are calculated in real time based on the DJ Rank score. This is a comprehensive ranking that does not rely on a single metric, but takes into account a combination of factors: the quantity and quality of published materials, user activity on Minatrix.FM, audience interest in their work and votes cast for the DJ.
The weight of each vote may differ. Votes from active and reputable users have a stronger influence on DJ Rank because such accounts already have a history of interaction with the project. New or low-activity accounts contribute minimally to the ranking, for example around +0.01, in order to reduce manipulation and keep the ranking fair.
To increase your DJ Rank, publish high-quality mixes and tracks, present your materials carefully, stay active on the website, collect real listener votes and grow your audience inside Minatrix.FM.
