WayV (We Are Your Vision) is a Chinese boy group formed in 2019 by SM Entertainment through its subsidiary label Label V. The group became the fourth official unit of the international NCT project.

Debut and Early Career
WayV debuted on January 17, 2019, with the digital single album The Vision, featuring the Chinese version of the song “Regular.” From their very first release, the group gained attention in China and beyond. Their charismatic choreography and powerful performances quickly helped them secure a place in the music industry.
That same year, they released the mini-album Take Off, followed later by Take Over the Moon, which included the English version of “Love Talk” — one of WayV’s biggest international hits.
Further Development
In June 2020, WayV released their first full-length album, Awaken the World, showcasing a more mature sound. Their music blends elements of C-pop, K-pop, R&B, and EDM, creating a versatile and recognizable style.
In 2021, the group released the mini-album Kick Back, which earned them awards for their dance performances. The 2022 EP Phantom marked their first release as a six-member group.
In 2023, WayV released their second studio album, On My Youth, which explored themes of growing up, self-discovery, and inner strength.
2024 was a breakthrough year: they presented the EP Give Me That, debuted in Japan with The Highest, and announced their new mini-album Frequency.
