B Jones - Biography and discography, all albums and songs

B Jones is the stage name of Spanish DJ, music producer and ARRYBA Music founder Beatriz Martínez Villar. She was born in Andújar, a city in the province of Jaén in southern Spain. Her professional career began on Madrid’s club scene and later became associated with the Pacha Ibiza World Tour, her own Come Closer project, appearances at Ibiza venues and performances at major festivals. In 2022, B Jones became the first Spanish artist to perform on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage.

Early years

Beatriz Martínez grew up in Andújar. She was first introduced to DJing at around the age of eleven through a relative who worked as a DJ. During her teenage years, music remained an interest rather than a professional pursuit.

Between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, Beatriz began travelling to Ibiza, where she worked in the hotel and restaurant industry. During one visit to Pacha Ibiza, she saw a female DJ perform for the first time: Australian artist Sarah Main. The experience showed her that working behind the decks could become a profession, although she returned to practical training and performing much later.

Martínez became a mother at a young age and postponed her musical plans for several years. After moving to Madrid, she worked in the nightlife industry, handling public relations, promotion and the organisation of club events. This gave her practical knowledge of booking, venue relations and the structure of the club business.

Beginning of her DJ career

In Madrid, Beatriz began training regularly with DJ Javier Coello. She spent nights in the studio learning to mix and structure sets, then recorded a demo session and sent it to the organisers of a club event.

Her first booking came from the Madrid party Heaven. Further performances followed over the next several months, and in the summer of 2012 B Jones secured a residency at Pacha La Pineda in Catalonia. Less than a year later, she joined the line-up of the Pacha Ibiza World Tour.

Her work with Pacha marked the first major international stage of her career. As part of the touring project, B Jones performed across Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. At that time, she was primarily a touring DJ, while her own production discography was still at an early stage.

Come Closer

In the mid-2010s, B Jones launched her own show, Come Closer, featuring house, EDM and new club music. The project began as a radio programme and podcast before expanding into an event series.

During the summer of 2017, residencies were held in Ibiza and Marbella under the title Come Closer to Ibiza by B Jones & Friends. Events under the brand were later organised in other countries, while Come Closer was also connected with B Jones’s programmes at Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza.

The project allowed the artist to curate her own line-ups and build event programmes around her musical direction. Come Closer Records later operated under the same name, although ARRYBA became B Jones’s main independent brand during the 2020s.

Ibiza: Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza

After her period with Pacha, B Jones continued working in Ibiza. She performed at Ushuaïa as part of programmes headlined by Kygo and Tiësto, and also appeared at Tomorrowland events and other club-branded programmes held at the venue. At Hï Ibiza, she performed during Future Rave, the residency created by David Guetta and MORTEN.

These appearances are more accurately described as participation in programmes and residencies led by specific artists rather than permanent residencies held by B Jones at the clubs themselves. Her connection with Ibiza developed through touring sets, her own Come Closer parties and regular appearances in the seasonal programmes of major venues.

Tomorrowland Around the World

In 2020, B Jones took part in the digital festival Tomorrowland Around the World, organised during restrictions on large public events. It was her first appearance in a Tomorrowland project, but not her debut on the physical Mainstage of the festival in Belgium.

Her participation in the digital edition preceded a series of appearances through which Tomorrowland became a central festival partner in B Jones’s career over the following years.

Tomorrowland Mainstage debut

In July 2022, B Jones performed on the Mainstage of Tomorrowland Belgium. She became the first Spanish artist, regardless of gender, to be included in the festival’s Mainstage programme. During that season, she performed across all three festival weekends.

In 2023, B Jones appeared on the main stages of Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland Belgium and Tomorrowland Brasil. Her appearances on the Belgian Mainstage subsequently became annual: DJ Mag documented four consecutive appearances from 2022 through 2025. In July 2026, she once again joined the Tomorrowland Belgium Mainstage line-up.

In addition to Tomorrowland, B Jones has performed at Untold, Neversea, Mysteryland, EDC Mexico, Lollapalooza Berlin, Creamfields and other international festivals. Her touring activity spans Europe, Latin America and Asia.

First notable releases

B Jones’s production discography developed alongside her touring career. Her early works include Ibiza Says No, released in support of a campaign opposing oil exploration off the island’s coast, as well as vocal club tracks and remixes.

In 2020, she released What Happens in Ibiza, followed by Girlfriend in 2021. These recordings belong to a period when the artist combined commercial house, vocal dance and elements of festival EDM.

In 2022, she released I Fall in Love and her own electronic version of Bella Ciao. Around the same period, her discography began shifting towards larger festival arrangements designed for big room and Mainstage EDM.

Tomorrowland Music

In June 2023, B Jones made her debut on Tomorrowland Music with the single I’ll Keep You High. The track combined vocal dance, Balearic percussion and a festival drop.

In October of the same year, she released Warrior, recorded with Brazilian duo Dubdogz and British singer Jem Cooke. The track formed part of a series of releases prepared for the return of Tomorrowland Brasil.

In March 2024, B Jones collaborated with Stadiumx and vocalist Maria Mathea on Don’t Forget. It became her third release on Tomorrowland Music following I’ll Keep You High and Warrior. The solo track Fast Life followed in September.

Infinity 2023, Bamboléo and Everytime We Touch

One of her notable releases of 2023 was Infinity 2023, recorded with Spanish producer Jose AM. The track used the recognisable musical foundation of the classic dance composition Infinity by Guru Josh.

In 2024, B Jones released Bamboléo with Romaric, an electronic reworking of the song widely known through the repertoire of Gipsy Kings. The single became one of the first releases associated with her new ARRYBA Music project. That same year, she and Sofiya Cristo presented their version of Everytime We Touch.

Reworkings of familiar melodies occupy a noticeable place in her sets. B Jones uses edits and mashups of classic dance, pop and trance compositions, adapting them to the tempo and dynamics of festival performances.

Beautiful with Steve Aoki

In December 2024, Steve Aoki and B Jones released the collaborative single Beautiful. The track was issued simultaneously through Tomorrowland Music and Aoki’s label Dim Mak.

The composition is structured as a vocal festival EDM track with a fast tempo, a large synthesiser drop and a melodic breakdown. Before its official release, the artists introduced it during festival appearances, including Tomorrowland 2024.

ARRYBA Music

In 2024, B Jones officially launched ARRYBA Music, her own label and media project for the Spanish-speaking electronic music scene. Its concept encompasses artists from Spain and Latin American countries and is not limited to a single dance music subgenre.

The project includes several divisions:

• ARRYBA Music — music releases;
• ARRYBA Radio — an original radio programme;
• ARRYBA TV — video sessions and interviews;
• ARRYBA Playlist — a selection of releases by Spanish-speaking artists.

ARRYBA Music releases are distributed with the involvement of Ditto Music. Through the project, B Jones releases her own music and provides a platform for producers from Spanish-speaking countries.

ARRYBA continued the ideas behind Come Closer but introduced a clearer publishing and educational structure. While Come Closer was primarily an event series and radio show, ARRYBA combines a label, media platform and international community.

Mainstage EP Vol. 1

In 2025, B Jones released her debut EP Mainstage EP Vol. 1 through ARRYBA Music. Its title reflects the material’s primary purpose: the tracks were created for major festivals and main stages.

In releases from this period, B Jones increased the influence of trance and contemporary Mainstage music. The arrangements made greater use of faster rhythms, large synthesiser melodies, vocal climaxes and elements of Eurodance.

Releases of 2025

In March 2025, B Jones joined Australian duo NERVO and singer EKE to record Wherever You Go. The release coincided with their joint appearance at Tomorrowland Winter.

That same year, B Jones recorded Left to Right with Alok for the Alok x Tomorrowland 2025 EP. She also released Last Applause with Stadiumx and Sam Martin.

• Left to Right.

The Now We Are Free remix is based on the vocal theme from Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard’s music for the film Gladiator. In B Jones’s version, the theme was reworked into a festival trance and Mainstage arrangement.

DJ Mag Top 100 DJs

In 2024, B Jones entered the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs for the first time, placing at number 94. Before that, she had appeared twice in the extended section of the ranking outside the main top 100.

In the 2025 ranking, she climbed to number 88. DJ Mag described her current style as a combination of Mainstage and trance main floor and identified her historic Tomorrowland appearance as the central achievement of her career.

The Top 100 DJs ranking is determined by an open public vote. Its positions therefore reflect an artist’s international visibility and audience activity rather than an expert assessment of production quality.

Bandera de Andalucía de las Artes

In February 2025, Beatriz Martínez Villar received the Bandera de Andalucía de las Artes from the regional government delegation of Andalusia in the province of Jaén.

The official decision recognised her Tomorrowland Mainstage appearance, international touring activity, entry into the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs and creation of ARRYBA.

Illness and return to the stage

In January 2026, B Jones announced that she had been diagnosed with a lymphatic form of cancer. She temporarily suspended most of her live activity and underwent surgery and treatment while continuing to release music.

During this period, she released Glow Up, Stronger, Universe [Trust the Plan] and Children. The titles and themes of some of these releases were connected with the artist’s personal experience during treatment.

In the spring of 2026, B Jones announced that she was in remission. On July 19, she returned to the Tomorrowland Belgium Mainstage, fulfilling her promise to perform at the festival again after treatment. The single Resistiré was released shortly before the appearance.

Musical style

B Jones’s music belongs to the festival-oriented side of the electronic scene. Her sets combine big room, Mainstage EDM, trance, Eurodance and selected elements of tech house. She does not follow a linear, single-genre format and often changes stylistic direction within the same performance.

The main elements of her productions include:

• a straight four-on-the-floor rhythm;
• vocal breakdowns;
• large synthesiser themes;
• a short transition from the climax to the drop;
• trance arpeggios and Eurodance melodies;
• reworkings of well-known songs and classic dance motifs.

B Jones’s early recordings were closer to vocal house and commercial EDM. During her collaboration with Tomorrowland Music, the sound became denser and more focused on large stages. In her 2025–2026 work, trance elements, faster tempos and melodic themes designed for large-scale festival performance became more pronounced.

B Jones today

B Jones combines international performances, the release of her own tracks and the management of ARRYBA Music. Her career includes several successive stages: club promotion in Madrid, a residency at Pacha La Pineda, touring with the Pacha Ibiza World Tour, the development of Come Closer, appearances at major Ibiza venues and regular performances on Tomorrowland’s Mainstage.

As a producer, she focuses on Mainstage EDM and trance with elements of Eurodance and big room. ARRYBA Music develops this direction as a label while also serving as a platform for Spanish-speaking artists from the electronic music scene. B Jones’s return to Tomorrowland in July 2026 marked the resumption of her live career after a forced break.
