
Bobina (real name — Dmitry Almazov, born March 11, 1982, in Moscow, Russia) is a Russian DJ, producer, and remixer, and one of the leading artists on the global trance scene. His name has become synonymous with high-quality sound, emotional melodies, and powerful club sets.
Dmitry began his career in the late 1990s, inspired by artists such as Paul van Dyk and Ferry Corsten. By the early 2000s, he was already performing in Moscow’s clubs and releasing his first tracks, quickly gaining attention from the international audience.
The stage name Bobina appeared in 2003 — under this alias, he released his biggest hits and earned recognition beyond Russia.
Musical Career
Bobina became the first Russian DJ to enter the global DJ Mag Top 100 DJs ranking, where he remained for several years.
His tracks have been released on top labels including Armada Music, Magik Muzik, and Black Hole Recordings. He has collaborated with artists such as Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, Betsie Larkin, Susana, and Christina Novelli.
He has performed at major festivals such as A State of Trance, Trance Energy, Global Gathering, Ultra Europe, as well as all major trance events in Russia.
In addition to producing, Bobina hosts his own weekly radio show, Russia Goes Clubbing, which airs in dozens of countries.
